WHAT COUNTS AS A QUALIFYING SALE?

For the regular BDF Tribe tiers, qualifying sales include:

Full Passes and VIP Passes
For Performing Team/Director incentives, qualifying sales include:

Performing Passes associated with the participating team/director.

Single-day passes, competition registrations, workshop add-ons, merchandise, hotel reservations, and other separately purchased products do not count toward Tribe reward totals unless specifically announced by BDF.

All qualifying sales must be completed using the Tribe member’s assigned discount/referral code or tracking link so BDF can verify the sale.

HOTEL REIMBURSEMENT

Hotel reimbursement benefits apply only to rooms reserved through the official Baltimore Dance Festival hotel booking link and within the official BDF room block.

Rooms booked directly with the hotel, through third-party websites, travel agencies, rewards programs, or any other booking method outside of the official BDF room block are not eligible for reimbursement, even if the participant stays at the BDF host hotel.

Tribe members and directors are responsible for making and initially paying for their own eligible hotel reservations. A paid hotel receipt showing the guest’s name, eligible stay dates, and amount paid must be submitted to BDF for reimbursement.

Reimbursement is limited to the number of hotel nights earned under the applicable Tribe tier and the eligible room rate booked through the official BDF link. Incidental charges, parking, room service, upgrades, damages, and other personal expenses are not reimbursable.

Hotel reimbursement benefits are subject to availability within the official BDF room block.

Once rooms available through the BDF booking link are sold out, hotel reimbursement will no longer be available for new reservations made outside of the BDF room block.

For an earned hotel benefit that cannot be used because the official BDF room block has sold out, BDF may provide complimentary BDF passes in place of the hotel reimbursement.

Replacement passes will be valid for up to two (2) years from the event year in which they were earned, giving the Tribe member or director the opportunity to use the benefit at a future Baltimore Dance Festival.

Hotel reimbursements cannot be converted to cash or applied toward rooms booked outside the official BDF room block.

IMPORTANT PROGRAM DETAILS

$35 Tribe Registration: Participation in the BDF Tribe program requires a $35 Tribe registration through Tickeri.

Rewards are earned, not automatic: Registration in the Tribe program does not guarantee a complimentary pass or hotel reimbursement. Rewards are earned after the required number of qualifying ticket sales has been verified.

Highest tier earned applies: Tribe rewards are based on the highest qualifying tier reached and are not cumulative.

No double-counting: Each ticket sale may be credited to only one Tribe member, team, director, or referral code.

Refunded/charged-back tickets: Tickets that are refunded, canceled, disputed, or charged back will be deducted from the participant’s qualifying sales total.

Reward choices: When a tier provides a choice between hotel nights and additional passes, the participant must select one reward option for that tier.

Complimentary passes: Complimentary passes earned through the Tribe program do not count as ticket sales toward another Tribe reward tier.

Verification: BDF’s ticketing records will be used to determine the participant’s final qualifying ticket-sale total.

Deadline: All qualifying ticket sales must be completed by the official BDF Tribe sales deadline announced by Baltimore Dance Festival.

Book early: Earning a hotel benefit does not reserve or guarantee a hotel room. Tribe participants are strongly encouraged to reserve through the BDF hotel link early because the official room block is limited.

Program changes: BDF reserves the right to clarify program rules or make reasonable adjustments when necessary. Any material changes affecting earned benefits will be communicated to registered Tribe participants.
